4 Things Writers Do Under Peer Pressure
That destroy their writing career.
Peer pressure is a powerful force that can influence us in many aspects of our lives, including our creative endeavors. As a writer, you may find yourself facing pressure from peers to do things that you wouldn’t normally do. Here are four things that writers do under peer pressure and if you find yourself relating to any of these, It’s high time you should get rid of it
1. Compromise their style: One of the most common things that writers do under peer pressure is to compromise their writing style. This can happen when a writer feels that their style is not as popular or well-received as other writers in their circle. As a result, they may feel pressure to conform to the expectations of their peers and change their style to be more like theirs.
2. Write on topics they don’t care about
Peer pressure can also lead writers to write on topics that they don’t care about. This can happen when a writer’s peers are interested in a particular topic and want the writer to join in on the conversation. In some cases, writers may feel that they have to write about a particular topic to fit in with their group, even if it doesn’t interest them.
