We are in 2023, and if you think writing on any topic you want will get you the same hype and audience, then you are wrong!

It is essential for a writer to have an insight into the topics that are viral and the things people want to see in articles.

The best way to find out what is going on around the world and what topics people are interested in is to look at the websites people mostly use. These include commonly used social media websites and famous blogs that most people look forward to.

Facebook

Facebook is my number one place to find ideas to write about, but it is not easy to find ideas as there are a lot of people on Facebook which results in a lot of spam posting, fake pages, and plagiarized and repetitive content.

But I have still found several ways to collect ideas:
1. Follow pages and groups related to your niche; this technique is what I use mostly. Following authentic pages and groups can help you meet people in your niche, It brings you exposure to many of their ideas. You also get to be involved in their discussions, and it all adds to your ideas.
2. Ask questions and make polls to get your statistics for the article; this will help you when you want to do a little research of your own before writing something down. Adding statistics with proof is always a good idea.
3. Look for the viral posts that appear in your newsfeed and dig into the comments to know what people have to say about them; this will help you when writing opinion-based articles.

Quora

I have recently discovered how to get article ideas from Quora.

Quora is an amazing place to find out about the timeless and viral topics people are talking about. The best thing about Quora is that it informs you not only of the most popular topics being discussed but also of how people perceive them to be. The questions asked and the answers given will provide you with information on how to carefully write about it in your blog posts and educate people on their questions.
