Dear New Writers, This is not How Medium Works!
Make it your place but first, understand it.
If you are someone who was recently suggested by a friend or a blog that Medium is where you can start earning and building community, Yes they were honest to you, But did they share that not every writer gets through here. Unlike most of the online blogs and websites that usually work on clickbait, ads, and third-party earnings, Medium has some strict policies.
Fortunately, One of the few websites that aim to build a writer’s community rather than just creating a presence in the search engines by unprofessional/eye-catching titles and content.
The favorite part is how the writers share their struggles and communicate with each other and there’s no “less/more followers” shit here. I am a new writer (or should I say just digging up the medium for the past 3 months trying to understand how things work here). Medium writers Content has grabbed my attention and I am looking forward to taking part in the future, More specifically intending to learn something. What’s motivating is the fact that writers with a higher number of followers or claps were not preferred. It was entirely based on the writing and not even on the writing experience!
